Individual Health Insurance simply refers to purchasing coverage for you (and your family) individually, rather than through an employer or business group. Thanks to a Federal Government reinsurance program issued in 2020, Colorado individual health insurance premiums will remain significantly lower for 2024. Open Enrollment for Small Business Health Coverage

November 15, 2023 – December 15, 2023

It is extremely important to understand that if you are a small business looking for health insurance coverage every health insurance carrier has a participation requirement ranging from 50% – 70% of your full-time employees. If you apply for 1/1/2024 coverage during the open enrollment period of 11/15/23 – 12/15/23, all participation requirements are waived. For many companies, this can be the difference between qualifying for group coverage or not qualifying.

Testimonials

Our company had been with a PEO for many years. Randy sent us a direct mail piece and oddly enough, I answered it. We had several meetings over the next couple months looking at not only health plan options to replace that provided by the PEO, but also at alternative payroll services and a benefits management platform. We found that by migrating off the PEO and into a level funded health plan with payroll and benefits management we would save over $40k per year, with the potential of saving significantly more with the level funding. It’s a win/win situation. Now 6 months in, while we are not sure of the actual total annual savings, our staff is very happy with the new coverage, our CFO happy with the $4k per month savings and our HR director really does not miss the PEO. We really should have made this change years ago! Thank you.

Connect For Health Colorado gave us Randy’s contact info and suggested we give him a call. He was able to answer our questions and guide us through qualifying for a subsidy.

Randy helped us to compare insurance plans, pick the 3 plans that worked best for ownership and our employees and submit all of the enrollment paperwork to Unitedhealthcare. Best of all, the entire process took less than 2 weeks including receipt of ID cards!

We were at our wits end. Our health insurance premium was going up nearly 35%, which we simply could not afford. Happily we were referred to RMG Health by a friend. Randy listed to our situation, educated us on some alternatives and helped us through the application process. We found that by changing insurance companies and going from a PPO plan to an HMO HSA plan we not only saved $100’s on our monthly premium, but also lowered our out of pocket expenses for 2016 along with saving some money on taxes by open an HSA savings account. Thanks Randy.

My wife was admitted to the E.R. with a potentially life threatening condition. It unfortunately was on New Year’s Eve. I was in a panic, scared and had lot of questions. I called Randy on New Year’s Eve at around 4:00p.m and to my surprise, he answered the phone. He was able to answer many of my questions, explain how my insurance policy would work in this situation and really put my mind at ease. I cannot thank you enough.
